Hindus celebrate “Mrityubhoj”, or the Death Feast, on the 13th day after a cremation as a remembrance for the departed soul. In recent years, the practice has two aspects as a traditional custom and a status symbol. The documentary film follows a family who is preparing for the ceremony after the demise of their father, questions the meaning of the ceremony for the poor.
